Privacy Policy
Anadee Collection collects only the information needed to run the store, process your order and support you afterwards.
Last reviewed: 26 August 2026
This policy is written with reference to Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Anadee Collection is the data controller for the personal information described here.
1. Information we collect
- Name and contact details: telephone number, WhatsApp number and email address where you give one.
- Delivery information: delivery address and any delivery instructions.
- Order information: items ordered, order reference, order status and payment status.
- Account information: your login email and account preferences, including your wishlist, if you create an account.
- Seller information, if you apply to sell: store details, identity and contact information and payout details.
- Messages you send us through the contact page, telephone or WhatsApp.
- Basic technical information created automatically when you use the site, such as pages requested and error reports, used to keep the site secure and working.
We do not collect your card number, Mobile Money PIN, OTP or banking passwords, and we never ask for them.
2. Why we use it
- To process, deliver and support your order.
- To contact you about your order, a delivery quote or a payment confirmation.
- To manage your account, wishlist and order history.
- To operate the marketplace, including seller approval, order fulfilment, commission and settlement.
- To keep the platform secure, detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and fix faults.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing messages unless you have asked for them.
3. Who we share it with
- Marketplace sellers: where you buy an item sold by an approved seller, that seller receives the information needed to fulfil your order.
- Delivery agents: the name, address and telephone number needed to deliver.
- Payment providers: payment is completed by the relevant provider, who handles the payment credentials directly.
- Service providers who host the site, database, storage and email on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.
Some of these service providers process data outside Ghana. Where that happens, we use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to keep the information protected to the standard described here.
4. How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for as long as needed to support the order and to satisfy legal, tax and accounting requirements. Account information is kept while your account is open. Enquiry messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve the matter.
5. How we protect it
- The site is served over HTTPS.
- Access to customer and order data is restricted by role, and enforced by the database itself.
- Administrative and seller areas require authentication, and sensitive actions are audit-logged.
- Uploaded media that is not yet public is not accessible to anonymous visitors.
- No system can be guaranteed absolutely secure, so please keep your own account password private.
6. Cookies and similar technology
We use only what the store needs to work: keeping you signed in, remembering your cart and preferences, and protecting requests against cross-site abuse. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party marketing profiling on this site.
7. Your rights
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date.
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.
- Object to a particular use, or ask us to restrict it.
- Withdraw consent where our use is based on your consent.
- Complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission.
Some information must be retained where the law requires it, for example transaction records.
Closing your account. You can close your account yourself from Your Account → Close your account, in the app or on the website. We remove your name, phone numbers, email address, delivery addresses, wishlist and messages. Completed orders, payments, commission and buyer-protection records stay in our books in anonymised form because tax law and dispute rules require it — they can no longer be linked to you. If you still have an order in progress, an open case, or a seller store with unpaid settlements, we hold the request until those are finished and our team contacts you.
8. Children
This store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we will delete it if we learn that we have.
9. Contact
For any privacy question or request, email anadeecoll@gmail.com or use the contact page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
If this policy changes, the updated version is published here with a new review date.
